Done!

I just took my last final for this semester! I only have 7 months and 24 days left until I graduate from nursing school! Joe and I are taking a much needed vacation now!

1 Year ago...

I can hardly believe it! We have been married for a year! Everyone told us that the first year is the hardest. But Joe has made it a walk in the park. I love you Joe! Happy Anniversary!

I can't believe it but Joe and I are coming up on our year anniversary! So to celebrate we just booked a cruise! We are driving to California and on our way we will stop in Vegas and see Phantom of the Opera! Then take off to California for our cruise! We are going to try and hit up six flags while we are down there and maybe go see if we can find Rob Dyrdek from our favorite show Fantasy Factory! We leave in less than 2 weeks! I'm too excited!!!

Look who is 26 folks! Happy Birthday Joe! I hope that you have the best birthday today!

What did they do to my dog?

So I got a call from my brother the other night telling me that Powder our family dog just got back from the groomers. I was thinking that she got the usual done, but I was so wrong! Powder is a Siberian Husky, Malamute mix and had the prettiest white fur coat that was fluffy and soft. My mom thought that Powder might do better this summer if she was shaved! That's right they shaved a dog that should not be shaved! Well they did not shave her completely they did not shave her tail or her face. Instead of being white she actually has a pinkish tone because of her flesh underneath that has never seen the light of day.

The funny part about it is her fur was a few inches thick that when she got shaved we realized that she was quite thin. She really does eat!

I really hope her hair grows back normal and that she doesn't stay like this forever.

She does not really like pictures being taken anymore, she looks really grumpy. I would be too if I looked like her.

Bumpit

I was watching TV today and this commercial came on and I could not help but laugh hysterically! I have a feeling it will take Utah County by storm. As if some women here don't tease their hair enough!

I'm sorry but I don't think this looks good at all! It just looks like these girls have a hump on their head that they are covering up with hair.

I have to admit that when I got married my hairstylist Ashley gave me a little bit of volume, but I think some of these girls look extreme!

I hope this was able to bring you a laugh like it did with me.

Seafood

So one of our favorite places to eat is Maglby's. Joe goes for the all you can eat crab and I go for the yummy rolls. I tried his crab and even with it dipped in butter I found no satisfaction in it.

A few years ago I went on a girls trip with Ashley, Celina, and Kristen to Mexico and when we went out to eat one night Ashley ordered some shrimp and it came to her in a bucket literally right out of the sea, all they did was cook it and she had to de-vein in and everything. And the shrimp had the biggest eyes just starring at her as she did this.

So here is the reason why I found no satisfaction in seafood.

1. I can't eat things that come to me with their eyes
2. I can't eat things that have claws
3. Texture, it is so squishy and weird
4. Taste

That is it, its a short list.

Joe wanted me to express that he loves seafood. He served his mission in Alaska. Need I say more?
