Backpacking Trip

Joe has been swamped with school and he hasn't been able to post some pictures from his backpacking trip, so I am here to help him out.
Before school started Joe went backpacking with his Dad, Sam, John and Cheri to the Sawtooth National Forest in Idaho.
After their backpacking trip they always go eat at the same place in celebration of surviving the wild I suppose.

This is John (aka the Boy) who was the only one who caught a fish

Tim was in charge of cooking and from what I hear he is quite the cook!
I think this picture below is beautiful! i love the reflection in the lake. Joe said the water was clear.

Family reunion

This past week Joe and I headed up to Burley for the Preston family reunion. We both have not been to the Logan temple so on the way to Burley we stopped in Logan to go to the temple. What a beautiful temple it was!
The family reunion started with 9 holes of golf for all those interested. A year ago I would not have been interested, but about a month ago I decided that I wanted to try golf and since Joe is going to be a lawyer in 2 years we figured it would be good to start going on his golf game too. I'm not that good, but it sure is fun!

This picture below was at our last hole. I was tired and instead of getting my pitching wedge out I decided to just use my putter out of laziness, well it paid off because I made it to the hole from this spot. Lucky me!

It was really fun to see family that we don't get to see all the time even though they are just in Salt Lake. The cute girl in the picture below is my sister in-law Cheri who will be a freshman at BYU this fall! I am so excited to have her so close!!!
All of the Preston girls went to this ladies house in Rupert and we learned how to make lotion, we even got to pick what scent we wanted. It was a fun time!

The last day of the family reunion we went on the Snake River and went boating. Look at Joe's amazing biceps! I have not been wakeboarding in almost 3 years, but I got up on the wakeboard the first try.

A day on the Snake river is not complete without a ride on the water weenie.

My new hobby

So recently I took up "couponing". Smiths had a double coupon event and the night before I was so excited I could hardly sleep. While I was at smiths and visiting with the other coupon ladies I found out my sleeping problem was quite normal among the group. I am still so excited I have to share with you all! My last trip really paid off, I got all of the stuff below some yogurt and string cheese for $28.71. I saved $84.42!!! If I would have paid regular price I would have paid $113.13! I apologize for what could be a boring post, but if any of you want I can teach you the joys of couponing!Below is the stuff that I got for free after using my coupons!!!
