Summer around the house

Our little girl loves being outside. She loves to look out the window and point and try to convince me to go play, even in the rain. She loved it anytime we would take her out to weed the garden with us. She is really a good rock finder, she will either hold onto the rocks or throw them over her shoulder.

She also loves a good mouthful of dirt when Mom or Dad takes their eye off of her.

We once tried to contain her in her pack and play while we worked, that didn't last long
 because she was squawking to play.

Seriously the cutest gardener ever!

 I found this cute little play house at a garage sale for $20! Kate loves playing in the sink, and climbing on the chair and table. She loves opening and shutting the front door. She knows it is all hers. Actually it is my little dream house, and I just let her play in it. (Ssshh, don't tell Kate)

Petting Zoo

One of the many reasons why I love living in a smaller town is that our local animal store is unlike any other. They have dogs, cats, birds and all the usual stuff, but they also have goats, pigs, horses, cows, etc. The store advertises the farm animals as a petting zoo, but they are also for sale. Kate and I go weekly.

Lots of Kids and their Mamma's from this spring. They had at least 2 dozen babies.

Earlier this spring they had chicks, Kate loved them and would jibber jabber to them.
