Instagram

Kate and her Dad
I realize that not everyone is on Instagram which is sad because they are missing out on adorable pictures of Kate. Here are the pictures we have been able to share on there of our little girl.

It is wild to see in her short 7 weeks here how much she has grown and changed.

Kate loves her Dad.
She will wake up for him when he gets home from work and will literally want to play with him until 10:00,
she doesn't like to waste time sleeping when he is around to play with.

Sucking her thumb

Kate now smiles more often and seems to just love having a body and being able to explore the world

10 pounds 13 oz of perfection.
Kate loves to lay on our bed and look up at the ceiling fan. She would do this for hours if we let her. She kicks her feet and wiggles her arms the whole time, she also makes the most adorable sound when she is watching the fan. We love to turn the fan on and off for her. We were at Loews the other night and went down the ceiling fan isle...Kate was thrilled.

Serious cuteness

Kate had a photo shoot when she was just 11 days old.
The photographer was able to capture just how adorable my little girl is.
She is the most perfect baby, and we love her so much.

Kate's visits

We had a lot of people who were pretty excited for Kate's arrival as well.
She had lots of visitors in her first few days of life.
I am so glad we have been taking hundreds of pictures because she has been growing so fast and it is nice to look back on the pictures and see how much she has changed.

Welcome home

2 weeks after Kate was born we moved into our house! I love it!

I love my kitchen! I have never cooked so much in my life. An amazing appliance is this stove! It doesn't heat the house up.

I love my hidden pantry! I have so much room!
Guests are welcome anytime!

Kate Preston

Our sweet Kate arrived right on time. She was due on August 16, and I literally was woken up at midnight and could tell I was in labor. It didn't take her long to get here and we had her in our arms by 1013 am.  It was the most amazing experience to be with Joe in the delivery room and get to see our little girl come into this world, it was the most spiritual, special and wonderful time in my life. I hope I can always remember this special day and the feelings I felt.

I promised my cardiologist that I would get an epidural, and it truly made labor so enjoyable once it was in. I am so grateful for the person who invented the epidural. We were laughing in between contractions as I was pushing. My heart did great!

I can't put into words how special Kate's birthday was.
I am so happy I get to be her Mom.
6 lb 11 oz, 20 3/4 inches long

Once she was here and the nurses knew she was okay we were able to spend a few hours quietly as a new family. It was amazing!

My friend and coworker Marcy was our first visitor. She has spoiled Kate and treated her like her own child
